The Ninjas Are Back!

Compared to our fellow pet friends, we turtles do not have as many celebrities as cats and dogs. Cats have Tom, Garfield, Sylvester and many more. Dogs have Lassie, Scooby Doo, Hachiko, Buddy, and many more. How about turtle? There are only 2 celebrities from the turtle world, one is not so famous and we have forgotten his name and The Teenage Mutant Ninja, the latter is very famous.

Mommy used to watch Ninja Turtles when she was little. Michael Angelo, Donatello, Leonardo and Raphael are the only real celebrities that we have. They are super cool. I like Michael Angelo the most.

I read in Uncle Castor’s blog (called Anomalous Material) that The Ninjas are coming back to the big screen…yaaaaiiiii.

“Battle: Los Angeles” helmer Jonathan Liebesman is in negotiations to direct Paramount’s live-action reboot of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”

Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Andrew Form are producing for Platinum Dunes.

Plot details are being kept under wraps except that the film would be a new reimagining of the comicbook and cartoon series.

In Mirage Studios’ original 1984 comicbook, “TMNT” centered on four turtles who take on humanoid form after coming into contact with radioactive slime. They are trained in karate by their humanoid rat master, Splinter, to fight the evil Shredder and his army of ninjas.

The Turtles jumped into the mainstream when the cartoon series began airing in 1987. The title has since spawned two separate series.

I wish the cinema people will let us see the movie…it’s a bit of discrimination if they don’t allow us. It’s a movie about turtles and turtles should be allowed to watch it in the cinema, right?

Anyway…as you have already known about my career in Hollywood, I think the movie would be better if there is a female ninja played by me
