Did you know that turtles love to sleep?
We sleep at night and day time. At night, mommy let us sleep on the floor so that we can get a completely dry shell for about 6 hours. But on day time, she let us sleep on our basking area. We can catch the sun while sleeping.
Mommy loves taking our picture while we were sleeping. This post is special for me, Kroten will have her own post later. I’m a bit fat,but I’ve been working hard to reduce my fat 🙂 (read My Successful Diet)

Btw, she is a turtle or terrapin, not a tortoise. I want to have a tortoise but still trying to find the right one.
I have 2 turtles. These are the pictures of Kame, she id 7.5 inches.
The other is Kroten, 6.5 inches

They are still growing 🙂 they can reach up to 15inches.
Yup, both are female. I have Kame first and then I bought Kroten thinking that she will become Kame’s mate…but I found out later that Kroten is also a female.
But that’s okay…I love my two girls 🙂

You know, at first I thought I bought 1 female and 1 male until I searched to google and found out that actually they are both female 😀

Do they ever bite you? Cos I always got scared when I hold them with my hand or foot in front of their face :p

Nope, they never bite me (tho I couldn’t say the same thing for other people). I will post pictures of them with my hand on their mouth one day. I train them to kiss my nose.
When they were smaller they often mistaken finger with food, but now they can seperate which is which.

Hahaha… If mine, I think they’re not mistaken of my finger. I mean, the bigger one really ever wanted to bite my finger, too bad my finger wasn’t near her mouth. Haha
