When I first read and saw the picture…I couldn’t stop crying…I literally cry.I couldn’t stop my tears from falling. Even writing this makes my eyes watery again. I couldn’t even put the picture here because I couldn’t stop imagining that Kame or Kroten was the one in there.
That is the sickest thing I have ever seen in my life…Don’t they have heart at all?
Yes, they are just small animals … but they are living creatures with soul!
If they don’t have feeling for animals, can they at least imagine would they like to be put in a big plastic bag, gasping for air and nothing to eat? Imagine that and then think of those poor animals.
I wish I can do something to put that cruelty to stop.
I wish I can fly to that country and free all those animals.
But I can’t 😦
All I can do now is to share this sad news and makes more people aware of it.

The petition is held in facebook, maybe it won’t work if you don’t open your account there. I really wish there is something I can do more than this.
I signed the petition but did not read the article. I get the idea of what it is and I cant handle seeing that kind of detail.. Like you guys, it would make me cry and ruin the rest of my day.
I think it is because they may view these things as good luck charms. Similar to how they kill rare tigers and sharks just to eat one special part thinking it will make them somehow stronger.
Its an ignorant thing to do.
In the article from the petition, it said that it will bring them luck when they animal is already died. Such a twisted idea. I can’t bear to read the whole article.
Seeing dead animals turn into accesories already make me sick, and now this…incredibly beyond belief.

Have you heard of change.org? They have various petitions and causes that you can sign. I’m not sure how you can create one, but they have reportedly have had some success in changing things.

This makes me so angry!!! These people deserve torture then when they’ve had enough more torture. Make them suffer the same way. I am disgusted by this news of these sick & cruel people.
The people who buy them are no better than those who make & sell them. I wish I could buy them all so I could cut open the bags & set them all free. I am still really angry!!!
My thought is same with you, Tony. Those people, both buyer and seller should taste their own medicine, they should be put in that plastic bag too.
Unfortunately, this kind of scam has probably been going on forever. One Asian version of it is to capture wild birds, stuff them into a big cage, and take them to market, knowing that kind-hearted passersby will buy a bird and release it. Or how about North American puppy mills? Breeders know that their clients will buy a puppy just to remove it from such awful living conditions.
It IS sick and cruel… but not new.
I know about the breeder and the wild birds…but I think this one is the cruelest of all…because those people condemned those animals to die…and before they died, they were tortured with lack of air and food.
This is horrible and what a coincidence. I bought a book today called “Animal Liberation” by an Australian animal rights activist. He says what I have been thinking for a long time. Maybe, yes, an animal can not think the same way as we do but they can feel. And most of all they can feel pain, just like we can. No being that can feel pain or be hurt should ever be treated different, with less care or less respect. He calls this speciesism, like racism, just against other species. I would like to become an animal rights activist. We all should.
That’s an amazing concept. II agree with him! We should respect all animals as much as we respect other human being.
I’d love to become an animal activist as well.

That is so sad! It’s unbelievable how cruel people can be!
Some will argue that that is the only way some people can make living.. but then following this concept, people who do ugly, cruel things to animals, birds, and even other people, can always argue ‘Well, I am just surviving’.
What kind of world are we living in? Who gave us rights to be ’the rulers of the Earth’. Twisted people, twisted minds!
And what can I do?! I just feel so angry and hopeless!

i know how you must be feeling…. i thought i was the only one who loves animals soo much that you may crave for them.. whenever i see animal cruelity in my place or nearby, i cant help but cry.. tjough am just a kid… i love animal more than i love myself… 😦 😥
