Very impressive. Your mom knows at least three languages. Perhaps one day, if she keeps up her studies, she will speak Reptilia!

    • Kame says:

What are you saying Catcalls? She already understand reptilian language…at least she knows when we say ‘We are hungry…please feed us!!’ ๐Ÿ˜‰

You’re reading a book in Japanese? That’s pretty impressive!

  4. Norwegian Wood was my first introduction to Murakami’s work! I can absolutely relate to your book review because the plot fell short of my expectations, too. For me, Norwegian Wood was a typified coming-of-age story with characters that lacked any form of endearing quality—they felt very distant to me. I have not read any of Murakami’s other novels since then, but perhaps I should give it a try again with one of your three recommendations: Kafka on The Shore, Sputnik Sweetheart, and Dance Dance Dance ๐Ÿ˜€

    • Novroz says:

Yes…do try those three Maple Ma. They are much better than Norwegian Wood. Those three are sureal and unusual read unlike Norwegian.

I am happy to meet another person who thinks Norwegian Wood is a bit off, most people said it’s good book.
