You are both getting so big!…Just how big can you get?
    Hugs, Aunt Deb xx

    • Kame says:

Some said we will be as big as 30cm…but not all can grow that big. Our growth is slower now that we are this big. When we were babies,we grew really fast.

 to you too Aunt Deb

Wow you guys are so big! I love your patterns and colorings too. πŸ™‚

  8. Nekoneko says:

I like that I can see both of your pretty red “ears” at the same time… πŸ˜‰

Hahaha!! It is funny that my eyes are drawn immediately to the “inches’ on the ruler rather than the metric scale…. Goes to show you how you can get very used to something and find change hard. We have supposedly been switching to the metric scale by federal law here in the US since I was a little girl, but somehow it has really never happened.

    • Kame says:

Can you see that Kroten has bigger ‘ears’ than me πŸ˜‰

    • Novroz says:

You know, I always wonder why US is different from the rest of the world? Instead of meters, US uses feet and so on.Do you know why?

      • Nekoneko says:

I wish I could say it was for good useful reasons, but it’s mostly just because Americans are stubborn about learning things from other places.

It’s usually called the “not invented here” syndrome. Kind of silly, but very true too. I am somewhat unusual as an American ,in that I actually like to explore and see things from other parts of the world and don’t always think what we do here is always “best”.

But… it is a very strong feeling here and hard to ignore, as even I catch myself occasionally thinking in very narrow “American” ways…. But I try to break that routine when I notice it. πŸ™‚

  9. Big Turtles! πŸ™‚ Love it!

  10. Binky says:

I didn’t realize that you two are almost the same size. I guess you’ll grow forever, even though you grow much slower as you age? The size you’re at now is pretty good, though, not so small as to easily get lost, and not so big that mommy can’t handle you.

    • Kroten says:

We wont grow far from 30cm, so Mommy will have no problem there. She was, at first, a bit worried if our species grows too big. Luckily we wont.

hehehe I am catching up little by little πŸ˜‰

by the way, we couldn’t get to your site last night, it kept saying your site is not exist, I wonder why…I hope nothing’s wrong. We will try again tomorrow.

  11. Oh! So, is it going to be a race to see who will grow the fastest in 2012? It’s a pretty tight race so far!

  12. Donna says:

Grow up bigger and healthier, Cuties!

  13. Samuel says:

Anwser this as soon as possible it looks like my turtle is eating rocks i think. And he has white stuff on him what should i do im feeding him what he always eats.

    • Novroz says:

eats rock?? how do you know he ate rocks? do you put pebbles in your tank? That is a big no no. You can put big rock, but never pebbles. I don’t know how to deal with that, let’s hope he didn’t eat it.

      White stuff on carapace?
