Again!! we break the word ‘wordless‘ here πŸ˜‰

We have been busy lately…well, Mommy was the busy one, we were just enjoying our lazy time as usual…but Mommy passworded her computer and making us impossible to update our blog.

Starting this Wednesday, in every first Wednesday we decided to share photos of our late cousin, Toga the Tokay Gecko. She was grandpa’s pet. We will share her photos till August because this coming August will be her 3rd death anniversary.

To know more about Tokay Gecko, do read my First Herptile Spotlight

Oooohhh! He was a pretty gecko…. I’ve never seen one that color before.

Wait a minute? “Wordless Wednesday”…. on a Tuesday? Are you two amazing time-traveling turtles? πŸ™‚

    • Kroten says:

Tokay gecko is common in south east Asia, no wonder if you never see it Aunt Miyuki.

Hehehe…it’s already Wednesday in our country since 7hours ago πŸ˜‰

      • Nekoneko says:

D’ohh!! I sometimes forget that the time is different where you are… πŸ˜‰

I have seen the little green/ brown geckos in Thai movies but I must say Toga is much prettier than those by far!! It makes me wish we had them here….

      • Kroten says:

that’s understandable Aunt Miyuki πŸ˜‰ we got used to time differences because Mommy loves NBA so she needs to remember what time does the Live game start.

But don’t be fooled by her look, she was beautiful but she would hiss and open her mouth ready to bite at non-family member when that person wanted to touch her. Most Tokay geckos are like that.

  3. that is one pretty reptile- Vanilla Bean

  4. Binky says:

Toga was such a beautiful looking lizard. He doesn’t even look real.
My brother had a small gecko once, and he (the gecko, not my brother) would bite everyone!

    • Kroten says:

Your brother’s gecko was like Toga, she would bite anyone she didn’t know and her teeth (or whatever gecko has) were really sharp, they could easily penetrate the skin and cause blood to drip.

…But, Toga never bit Grandpa, she loved to lick him.

That was one good looking pet, it almost doesn’t seem real…Such a shame she is gone. It is nice, though, that you all remember her with so much fondness even after 3 years…Looking forward to more photos x

    • Kroten says:

Thank you Aunt Didi πŸ™‚ She was a rarity, tame Tokay is really rare, that’s why we miss her a lot. And that’s why mommy want to adopt another species of gecko one day. We can’t wait to share more photo next month πŸ™‚

  8. Hmmm,

Now I know I was right to keep an eye on my little guy this week – they may look pretty but they can get up to all kinds of Mischief….

Hey Kame and Kroten, how’s your Mischief going buddies?

    Have fun,

    Your pal Snoopy πŸ™‚
