I love walking under the sun. My shell is not too strong. I often got shell disease. Mommy still doesn’t know why, but maybe…I said maybe…it’s because of me being a morph, maybe it makes my shell vulnerable.
She tries to strengthen my shell by letting me out as often as possible. The sun will make my shell better. I liked walking around the front yard and let the sun makes my beautiful shell shines like gold.
The first 4 pictures were taken early 2010. And the last 4 were taken in the middle of that year.
Didn’t I look beautiful? I looked like a true adventurer, ready for the wild world 😉
Unfortunately, that was 2 years ago…our new home has no garden/yard…so I am becoming a sitting type turtle…enjoying the sun without moving much 😉

The old house was for from the centre of Jakarta, that’s why we still have yard. We only concrete now.

Although my shell is not that pretty anymore
I remember when I was a youngster having a pet tortoise and she used to always be running off when adventuring in the back yard, her name was Susie and she was a lovely tortoise. Thank you for reminding me of this, I have not thought about her in such a long time so this was a nice memory. Thank you 🙂 🙂 Kroten the Explorer, I like that a lot 🙂
