Hi…

Today is very special because I want to share one of my talent which is modelling. Through this post, I hope other turtles can learn how to look cute and maybe there’s a real photographer out there who wants me as the cover of the magazine he works for 😉

About Papoe

Hi...I am named Papoe (read: pa-poo) because my origin is from Papua New guinea :) I am a Pink belly short Necked Turtle. Mommy adopted me on March 11, 2012. I am struggling with my body size...maybe I am a midget

You might have a big modelling future, Papoe! I know a zoo wombat in Japan, Chewbacca, who also likes to pose and model. You two should get together!

Way Cute!! I had a painted turtle I took to classrooms for talks on leaving wild animals alone. Picasso was an amazing critter and good friend who left us to swim in the great pond beyond & we miss him. Live long & well!

    • Novroz says:

      Thank you Mary Quast 🙂
My turtles are too spoiled, I am not sure they can live long if I set them free…then again I can’t live without them either.

    Way to go, cutie pie!

  13. I remember when my daughter had turtles. There is just something very wise and yet primitive at the same time about them.
