Moving out and in to a new house is always troublesome, at least for us turtles (pets in general).

Mommy has mentioned it in her blog (Moving Out for The Sake of Time and My Turtles) that we are moving to her school’s mess for our sake and hers.

We are in the new room now \(^_^)/

The moving process was a bit pain in the bu**!! Mommy cleaned our big tanks a night before we moved. We were, as usual, slept on the floor. She chose to clean them while we were sleeping. The problem came when the morning came, the moving day. She had to put us inside a small container. Papoe in his own container and I was stuck with Kurome together.

Look at how we almost had no space to move about!! Mommy was a sad seeing us like this but she had no other place to put us during ride to her school.

Fortunately….the ride was only about 30 minutes. The minute we arrive, she took out all the things she put on out tanks and put us back inside the tanks. She didn’t want what had happened to our sister happened again, so after her brother and his family went home, she immediately filled our tanks and and turned on the filters.

She tidied up the rest of the room afterward.

This is how she set our tanks…but she will change it again next month so that I can get a better afternoon sun.

For now, at least she can put me on the path where the sun fall on the floor😉

Unfortunately…my brother, Kurome becomes a bit stress. It’s common to some turtles to become stress after such process. He becomes very quiet, not as active as he used to. Little Papoe deals with moving process cheerfully. We all hope Kurome will go back to normal soon. I’ll keep you posted.

Moving is never fun for anyone. Since your turtles don’t really know what’s going on, and are being jostled about, they probably don’t like it much, either. And with all the different sights and smells in your new place, it’s as if everything’s changed! At least not you or their tanks. Hopefully Kurome with settle down soon.

Hear hear!! Not fun for both human and pets.
I have been here for five days now and things are getting better. Kurome is no slonger shy but still hasn’t followed me around yet😦 Maybe he is still mad at me to be put in such narrow space

I am already used to our new home now🙂
It’s much brighter than our old house….but it’s so quiet when Mommy goes back to our old house and leaves us on our own here.

Hugs to Kurome for having to weather the process, and I’m not surprised Papoe took it in stride.
