It’s not 100% wordless because I have something nice to say about my little dearest Papoe 🙂

Papoe is the shiest of all my turtles…however, he has curiosity toward his mommy now. This happened recently! he usually ran away when seeing me approaching the tank…but not this time 🙂

I am so happy to see my shy turtle has slowly shown attachment. Not only when he is in the tank, when I set him free he often climbs my body or tries to sleep under my body (he sneaks in and I often don’t realize he has tucked himself in).

So cute! The way he stares so intently at your hand. I wonder if he thinks you have a special treat for him…. 😉

I know!! he is currently my favorite of the month 😉
He has such an intense look all the time and it makes him looks cuter. hahaha he tries to sniff my fingers through the tank.

Oh, what a little cutie! How wonderful that he’s become so attached to you. 🙂

  6. Binky says:

That’s nice that Papoe has learned to trust you more. He is pretty small, and still young, so that probably makes him more cautious. So maybe he’s outgrowing that now.

Kame was much smaller and younger when she first met me but she instantly showed attachment. I think small and young are not the main reason, it’s more to the personality of Papoe itself…he was born shy and slowly opens up as he grows older.
