As Papoe had mentioned in her post (Perfect Shed), we had 2 good news. Papoe has shred hers last week…now It’s time for me to share the other good news.
The good news is …… #DrumRolls …. Mommy is pregnant \(^_^)/
So….that means we will have a hu-sibling 🙂
She/he is only 4 weeks old now, the doctor said it’s still only the pocket. Next month we can see the baby inside the pocket. I hope our future hu-sibling is a boy, but boy or girl is okay.
You can the USG result here. The small round pocket on the top left is our future hu-sibling
Here’s a closer look
Can’t wait to see you 🙂
Mommy’s friends starts teasing her that our hu-sibling will not be nice to us, like pulling our leg or dropping us or other mean things…but I am sure Mommy will teach our hu-sibling to love us as much as her and daddy.
Wow! Congratulations!! I’m sure your child will learn to respect all life, including turtles. Don’t listen to your downer friends.
Thank you Karel 🙂
I hope he/she will learn all the best for living things and environment. I don’t want to raise a kid who hurts other living things and throw garbage everywhere or does vandalism. So many kids are like that nowadays 😦
I can’t imagine e you raising a child that won’t respect him/herself, the environment, or animals. We have a lot of hellions in my country, too, but my 4 children are sensitive, loving environmentalists who don’t smoke or do drugs. You’ll do fine!
Thank you for the encouragement 🙂
oh you will get a little human-sister or a human-brother? that’s great! and I bet that little human will be nice to you :o)
Thank you Easy 🙂
Yes I know he/she will be nice to us because Mommy and Daddy are always nice to us so he/she will learn to nice to us too 🙂
Wow, congratulations! I’m so happy for your family!
Thank you Wazeau 🙂

Thank you Cody 🙂
Congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you Aunt Susan 🙂
Aww=) haha!
Congratulations, Novia! I’m sure your child will one day love your turtle-kids as much as you do.
Thank you Peter 🙂
I hope so too…I will teach my child as best I can so that he/she will think of my turtle-kids as part of family too
Awww and reading this news too! Big congrats on the hu-sibling and all the best 😀
Thank you Aunt Theresa 🙂
CONGRATULATIONS!!
Thank you Roro 🙂
Congrats!!!!
Thank you 🙂
That’s sure fast! Congrats again, Novi!
If I would tease, perhaps I would tease that your hu-sibling will grow bigger than you
It is…considering my age, we don’t plan to delay at all 😉
It’s going to be a lot of hard work keeping everyone safe for the first few years. Babies and toddlers put EVERYTHING into their mouth – regardless of what does or does not belong there. Dropping is going to happen no matter how hard you try to prevent it.
I recommend finding a place for turtle tanks that isn’t accessible by little hands. Not that it’ll be an issue until your little one starts to crawl. That’ll buy you a few months after the birth.
Yes, that’s what I am worrying about.
Keeping them both safely. I don’t want my toddler son to play on the turtles and hurt them unintentionally and I don’t want my son to get infected with salmonella. I have months to figure out the best way for them.
