I can’t believe I have had her for 8 years now 🙂
I still can remember the day I brought her home. She was light green, different to other turtles in the shop who were dark green, a bit sick with some rotten parts on her carapace and plastron; and has no nails at all. I was and still am glad that she got over her sickness and grows to be a healthy and smart turtle. Her color, just like Papoe, is also changing over the year.
Here are two pictures of her wen I first brought her to her new home. The quality is not good because I only used my mobile phone’s not so good camera….but you still see how cute she was and how pale he color was.
Under the blanket
She was soooo shy and difficult to trust her human family, unlike Kame who instantly attached to me….however, she grew to be passionate and eager to play with me…even sleep on me.
Here’s a video I posted 3 years ago of how she changed from shy to attention seeker 😉
Now look her color. This is my favorite period of her color…she looked golden.
Too bad she didn’t keep her color because as she gets older she becomes darker. She is still lighter than most Red eared sliders but still not as pretty as her golden age. Despite the change…I still love her because her personality is getting warmer each year.
I am going to close this post with latest pictures that I took an hour ago 🙂
Happy gotcha day dearest Kroten…I am so happy you walked to me when I came to that shop. Love you always and forever 🙂
Happy Gotcha Day dear Kroten… the turtle with the cutest nose of the world :o) a big kiss from Hell-mut too, he is just busy with waking up after his hibernation (he eats like a horse lol)
Thank you Easy ((hug))

I will never do hibernation here because I live in the tropical country.
